Meet Jess
Thanks to the Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley, I wanted to be a detective as a kid. Does anyone remember that old show? My curiosity then spanned to writing, and I would type out one-page stories on our clunky box computer with extra loud keys. THEN, thanks to my mama, I grew up in the thriller and horror movie realm. I remember watching the first couple minutes of Blair Witch, and after "I'm so scared," I didn't completely watch it until my early 20s!
Anyway, after over a decade of trying to run a photography business and losing my joy, I decided to do photography as a hobby. I hopped into content writing and digital marketing, thanks to my pretty rad bosses at a small SEO company in Las Vegas, who gave this spooky gal a chance!
Now that I've been with my company for two years, I want to expand my writing to more than what our clients need. I want to put my dream jobs from childhood into one fun project so that I can now be a detective (researching for blogs) and write about horror, true crime, and more!
I'm originally from a small farm town in Nebraska. I'm happily married to a goofy redhead from my hometown. We share a cozy condo in Las Vegas with two adorable furbabies. Thanks to his career in the Air Force (going on 11 years), we've been all over the United States!
I'm going on a haunted road trip, and I'll write and post wherever I explore, so I look forward to fun blogs about unique and spooky places I'll go.
